OUR STORY

After 15+ years of restaurant management experience and our love of Rocky Point, we decided to open The New Mexican Restaurant and Bar. Also, our Chef Luis brings many years of experience from the US and Mexico, having cooked since he was 17. He creates almost everything from scratch, including our baked goods. And, he always strives to please your palate.

ABOUT US

The New Mexican Restaurant and Bar is owned and operated by Chris and Mary Delucia. Mary brings over 15 years of restaurant management experience to The New Mexican. And, Chris came to Rocky Point to fish with his father when he was a young child, so their love for Rocky Point, Mexico, is huge. So, now they have a great recipe for success.

Although Chris and Mary opened The New Mexican Restaurant and Bar in the fall of 2018, their grand opening will be February 9th, 2019. Their plans include live music, special events, and a dinner buffet upstairs, where they'll serve different styles of food each night of the week (Italian, Mexican, seafood...etc.).

Meet our chef!

Chef Luis dedicates his labor of love to your palate. Bringing his many years of experience, both in the USA and Mexico, he produces some of the best food and drinks in Rocky Point, Mexico. He makes almost everything from scratch, including the baked goods. That means, all buns and biscuits are prepared and baked fresh, just for you.

Chris and Mary are currently collecting feedback and suggestions as they plan their grand opening.
